Let's Get Digital in Dartford!

Sophie Mackenzie and the Digital Kent team took to Dartford to share digital skills and access to the community.
The team ran a number of activities designed to grow digital skills and get people involved with Digital Kent.
They set up in 'The Meeting Place', a communal space in the Orchards Shopping Centre in Dartford. The fantastic location meant they were able to support members of the public throughout the day with their digital questions.
They met some wonderful new people, including Jackie, a trustee of Dartford's volunteer centre and member of the Elders Forum. It was great to meet people who are so passionate about their community, and she was so keen to know about us and work with us in the future. We also had a member of Dartford's Citizen's Advice Bureau pop in to say hi and check out what we're doing to make Kent digitally inclusive!
We can't wait to get back to Dartford to run more events like this.
