Essential Digital Skills Course Graduation

It can be hard enough learning how to use technology, particularly if you don’t know where to start! This is why Kent Adult Education’s (KAE) ‘Essential Digital Skills’ course has been such a success, and so valuable for the participants. Many of the learners were starting from ground zero, but by the end, they had each put together presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint to show to the class. The presentations were absolutely fantastic, demonstrating real skill and growth – they had been able to get online to research topics for each of their presentations, find images to accompany their research, and put them all together to share with the class! Our favourite was the presentation all about Freddie Mercury. We learned his birth name was Farrokh Bulsara, that Bohemian Rhapsody almost didn’t get released, and we even got to listen to a bit of Queen!
