Coffee, Cake and Computers in Canterbury

Our Digital Champions have been doing fantastic work in the community, and Jake Huggett went along to join our Champion, Elsa Lewis, at her Coffee, Cake and Computer Club. Elsa set her club up 3 years ago, and they meet every Friday morning to learn about digital devices, ask any digital related questions, combat loneliness and have coffee and cake at Barton Church.

Jake attended a session with the whole crew and provided a talk on Digital Kent's projects, internet safety and helped answer individual's questions about their digital devices.

One of the residents has recently obtained a device from our Hardware Access Scheme, and he was telling Jake how life changing this has been for him! We always love to hear the difference our projects make.

We are so impressed with Elsa's hard work, and hope that she inspires many others to set up computer clubs in Kent and bring digital skills to everyone!
