Our Projects and Schemes

Digital Support Scheme

The Digital Support Scheme has been set up to provide informal support to individuals (18 years old or over) that would like to improve their digital skills, motivation or confidence.

The way in which someone can be provided support requires a referral or self-referral to express interest. Support will be provided by a matched volunteer Digital Champion or by a member of the Digital Kent team.

Support can be delivered to individuals via telephone, virtually (e.g. MS Teams) or in person, at a public space convenient to you and the person supporting you. The easiest and quickest way to get support is via telephone or virtually.

If you're the individual that wishes to be supported, please complete this self-referral form or give one of our team a call on 03000 410950. You must be 18 years old or over.

If you're a professional, wanting to refer someone into the scheme, please complete this referral form. The person you're referring for digital support must be 18 years old or over.

The scheme is being funded by Kent County Council, through it's Helping Hands Scheme under the Digital Inclusion & Capability funding stream. The funding has been available through various COVID-19 Grants by the government.
